Kevin was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and immigrated to the United States when he was three in 1996 with his parents. Since then, they’ve lived on their ranch in Texas, maintaining a strong business and family relationship in Brazil.

His parents have lived a very successful life in the horse industry, specifically with Reining horses. Along with numerous world and national titles, they founded the National Reining Horse Association of Brazil, the ANCR, won at the 1999 NRBC, and even imported the first criollo horse into the United States! Carlos was the first ANCR President, is in the ABQM Hall of Fame, and both Carlos and Laurie are in the ANCR Hall of Fame!

Kevin began showing cattle when he joined the FFA as a freshman in high school in 2006. Beginning with brahmans, he continued showing and breeding registered grey brahmans for the next ten years, until finally transitioning the herd into a registered black Angus operation in 2015.

He won several championships throughout his Brahman years, with division titles including the Ft Worth Jr Heifer Show Calf Champion, many first places, and a Jr State Grand Champion Bred & Owned Bull win. He also had a strong presence in the Brahman world in Brazil, even showing the 3rd Place Sr Female at the 2010 World Brahman Congress.
